Lower Secondary (O Level)

Senior One & Senior Two

Senior Three & Senior Four

Senior Three and Senior Four mark a pivotal period in a student's academic journey. This phase is characterized by intense study and preparation for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations.

Key Factors about Senior Three and Four

Senior Three is the foundational year for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations. It focuses on building a strong understanding of core subjects. The curriculum is more broad-based, covering a range of subjects.Senior Four is the final year of secondary education before the UCE exams.¹ It's a year of intense study and preparation. The curriculum is more specialized, with students focusing on a smaller number of subjects that align with their academic interests and future aspirations.

By the end of Senior Four, students are expected to have developed the necessary knowledge, skills, and exam techniques to excel in the UCE examinations and progress to the next stage of their education.
