Two decades ago, St. Lawrence Secondary School embraced the future of education by becoming a co-educational institution. .
Now half a century later, we have celebrated this historic milestone with a year-long series of events, talks and activities to commemorate this pioneering decision and highlight the benefits that a truly co-educational environment can provide girls and boys.
A Commemorative Celebration - 20 Years of Co-Education
St. Lawrence Secondary School marked its 20th anniversary of co-education with a series of commemorative events. The celebrations commenced with a solemn Church Service, where esteemed guests, including Catholic Bishops and representatives from the Archdiocese, offered prayers and blessings for the school's continued success.
Following the spiritual ceremony, the school community and invited guests were treated to a captivating array of presentations and performances. Talented students showcased their skills in various disciplines, including music, dance, and drama. The event was further enriched by the participation of renowned cultural guest artistes who captivated the audience with their mesmerizing performances.This memorable celebration commemorated the school's journey toward inclusivity and academic excellence. It highlighted the significant impact of co-education on the holistic development of students and reinforced the school's commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering learning environment.
